Default Should Bulgaria pay for the destruction of the Zebrnjak monument?

The Zebrnjak monument is a Serbian built monument commemorating the deaths of the Serbs who died in the battle of Kumanovo, whilst fighting the Turks.

It was built in the 30's but destroyed in the 40's by the Bulgarian army during it's occupation of Macedonia.

    The monument today:

The original monument before its destruction.

By pay i mean should they pay for the cost of rebuilding it?

Nazi collaborates should pay for all the harm they caused. Financially.

They should have made them pay right after the war ended. Attempting to do it now would be more than tricky...at least it's not completely gone.

The Battle of Kumanovo was obviously a Serbian lead operation, though there were also Macedonians that joined in the fight. So the monument is for them also.

It was not a nice thing to destroy it but this "you should pay" logic makes no sense. You have nothing to do what your ancestors did 100 years ago.

    Reparations do happen even today.

These stuff are more out of good will. As you say, you shouldn't have to pay for what your great grandfather did.

Because of dumb liberals and only whites do that, other races don't. You're not responsible for your ancestors that's why paying reparations makes no sense.

The Battle of Kumanovo and the entry of the Serbian army into Macedonia brought alot of pain and misery to the Macedonians. It spawned the rebirth of VMRO under Todor Aleksandrov and a struggle against the Serbs. It should be flattened to the ground.

We run into a tricky position with the Serbs. On one end, they lead a mission that exterminated the Ottomans from Macedonia, of which Macedonian locals also joined and helped the cause. And on the other hand, Macedonians received some nasty treatment by the Serbian authorities after liberation.

I don't think the monument should be flatted though. It commemorates the death of alot of people. I'd prefer the flattening of statues such as the one of Nazi Albanian collaborators that have been erected in Macedonia. The statue of Xhem Hasa is one of them.
