The majority of them settled in Budjak, which is now in Odessa oblast of Ukraine. But those that settled on the current territory of Moldova were mainly located in the South, for example in the village of Alexanderfeld, which is just next to that of my maternal grandpa. Some of them were assimilated in my grandpas village, for example the Puls family.
I match one of them from that village on MyHeritage at 60cM and my mom at 80cM.
We have two matches in common, surnames Jensen and Ahlers.
Unfortunately he probably doesn't really care about genetics, since he hasn't answered to my email from a while ago.
