True Story , especially these collection/choise of faces... indeed very turkish looking.

Well i am not trying to tell you that crete is all about blondism and blue eyes, lol no way...

But hey, Turks were the the only conquerors of crete who lasted the less. How much could they influence the country anyway?

    E.g. Venetians lasted like ~450 years .

Anyways Crete is very heterogeneous, everyday i see almost every kind of pigmentation (i mean hair/eyes/skin colour) on locals. Nothing new here

It doesn't surprise me to see West Asian influence which would be Neolithic not due to any recent invaders but some of these people almost look Turanid inspired too which is what surprises me.

LOL. Turks are mostly Anatolians, which would be similar to Greeks and Greek islanders as well. Don't be in Denial. Greeks look more like Turks than like Serbians who have some more direct recent Medieval Slav ancestry.

You can see the difference between islanders like in these photos and mainland Greeks though (especially northern ones who do look more like Serbs).

It's the other way around:Western Turks look very much like Greeks. The west coast of Turkey was Greek in ancient times.

Central Turks kinda look like Greeks as well. Most of the population of Anatolia hasn't been Ethnically Hellenic, just like right now they're not Ethnically Altaic/Turkic.
