    AFAIK, about all "integrated" Eastern European countries by some reason provide many guestworkers to Western Europe. Western Europeans should make their minds if they really want this scnenario or not.

    Having been raised in an area (Brabant. I grew up in Waalwijk which used to be the center of the leather industry) with a lot of unemployment because industry had been gutted and moved abroad: no. It's time to bring back industry and put our own people back to work. And, as Sunqvist may mention the asparagus fields, guess what ? I spent quite a few years as a teenager (South-Eastern Brabant and Northern Limburg) in that area and he's wrong: back then the local kids used to do it but they started bringing in Eastern Europeans in order to undercut those high school kids. There too, whole communities had been gutted by unemployment and this only made it worse.

    Wake up and smell the coffee.

    Normally, only few moneybags profit from such scenarios. The rest - lose.

    Pay attention to the 2 lower tables and the manufacturing industry indicator.
    in the I quarter of 2020 compared to the I quarter of 2019 - 101.5%;

    in March 2020 compared to March 2019 - 100.3%, compared with February 2020 - 106.4%.
    Traditionally, we compare the main indicator of the economy with that in other countries.

    Among the leaders: USA, China, Germany, Japan, Eurozone, the UK, Italy, Brazil, Spain ...
    Separately, I want to note that US data have a negative historical tone!
