That's really won't get you far in terms of gaining worldwide support.

Germans had same thing going on sometime in the middle of 20th century and it didn't turned out too well for them. You're lucky you living across the pond from other big nations so it's really hard for them to drive their tanks into Washington.

Not all western political systems have the superior proportional representational system not even in Europe AFAIK. Of course some European countries do have proportional representation and that is obviously superior to America's two party tyranny system.

That is not exactly true there are two schools of thought in jurisprudence in regards to the constitution the living (changing ) document view and the strict (infallible unchangeable) constructionist view. The constitution has technically been modified at least a few times since it's inception and can be interpretated liberally using the former school of thought.

Despite that it was one of the first democratic experiences in history, you can't argue that these 'sacred texts' do work not so bad even today, especially. Current not the best place in freedom/democratic rates can be easily explained by those fact that US has to play super power state role and guarantee freedom and democracy for another countries, so it can be explained by recent complicated history and need to preserve some ,possibly, archaic institutions to maintain stability and position in the world. More "progessive" countries wouldn't be able to do it, and wouldn't exist at all.
