Speaking about Hungarian words of Turkic origin, don't you recognize a familiar word, more precisely a color in my username?

Kökény is the Hungarian word for the plant sloe, which happens to be blue. This word is borrowed from Turkic, I read that we got it from the Avars, but I don't know how true is that.

Anyway we say 'Kék' for Blue.
