    I found this about Árpád:
    From Hungarian árpa meaning "barley". This was the name of a 9th-century Magyar ruler who led his people into Hungary. He is considered a Hungarian national hero.

    Coban is indeed iranian origin. the suffix an is found in iranic and also turkic terms. But this word was brought by turks to balkan.

    That is true but Coban is the East Iranic term and they all have the Root Shoban. Kurdish the typical b=> v/w shift into Shiwan/Shivan. Persians tend to stretch words like in your example of shibaan.
