Why are Germanic people more hardworking and more honest compared to many Eastern Europeans?

Slavs are not same, for example czechs and russians have very different mentality and life style. The problem is the primitive cultures (mongol, ottoman) invaded the advanced european areas and they pushed their mentality to locals, that happened in Balkans and East Europe. I'm not say these peoples are primitive but they opressors were. Balkans had very advanced greco-byzantine culture until ottomans destroyed them in the name of Allah and this primitive muslim culture was forced on them. Balkans were very rich area in roman times, and became poor region under ottomans.

For example, to be disciplined could be considered be submissive and easily manipulable, being hardworking could be conisdered be less skilled to social life, and being honest could be considered being excessively rigid or unable to skip the norms punctually to adapt to the continually changing reality.
