Deep paternal side is from Mecklenburg. I also have some Swabian, some from Sleswig-Holstein. A little Bohemian German.

In terms of information from my family I really dont know too much about where my German ancestry can be from.
I assume there is at least distant Germanic connections through my maternal British side which is mostly English maybe 60% English and 35% Irish and 5% Scottish.
From my Dad's side I dont know of any specific German relatives but from my surname online search there is lot of people with my surname living in Austria even though the surname isnt Germanic. Im not sure if those people are distant relatives or connected to my branch of the family name. There are also many people in online search with same surname in Hungary....and I dont know how they fit or if they fit in my family tree.
My 23andme results give the following areas but I dont know how accurate this can be ......

Most of my ancestors were Czech speaking, some Polish speaking and if I will go back to the 17th century I will find some German-speaking lines from this areas of my country:

I don't have any German ancestors but I think to be cool and American you need at least a little German ancestry

According to Myheritage I have 4-5% Scandinavian ancestry, which is Germanic if it counts. So Denmark, Norway, Sweden. Honestly, I have no idea, I knew I don't have German ancestors but Scandinavian was really a surprise.
Any ideas (where it possibly comes from?)
