Are younger generations of north Caucasians more dolichocephalic (long skulled) compared to older generations?
This trend is very significant among russian and south slav youth but since north caucasians still live in rural places as far as i know maybe they are not changing so fast.

Alan necropolis in Dargavs village (Northern Ossetia-Alania). It is said that when there would be plagues that wiped out entire families some sick, with no one to bury them, would go into their family crypts and await their death.

Kala Koreish (Qala Quraysh "castle of Qurayshites") - abandoned settlement which served as capital of Khaydak (Kaytag) khanate. Khans of Kaytag claimed descent from family of Amir Hamza (uncle of Prophet Muhammad PBUH) and therefore from Quraish tribe.

That necropolis is more Nakh than "Alan", they are found scattered all across Chechnya and Ingushetia. North Ossetians were heavily influenced by Nakh's, they even have Nakh style towers.

Idk about Caucasians but I'm more dolichocephalic than my father, but I rarely see a Hungarian with such a ,,flat'' head than my father.

I have a dolicho skull while my parents are more on the brachy side.

There are four main represented population in the North Caucasus: Mtebid as an extension of CM, North Pontid, Mediterraneanid(Pontid), Alpinid and Caspid.

I remember a few months ago and even years ago seeing Chechen fighters on tv and they were quite light pigmented. More than these other Caucasians. A lot of them had blondish or light brown hair and light eyes, pale skin. They kind of looked like Russians, if it weren't for the Caucasian attire and big beards. Their leader is quite light looking too.

I remember a few months ago and even years ago seeing Chechen fighters on tv and they were quite light pigmented. More than these other Caucasians. A lot of them had blondish or light brown hair and light eyes, pale skin. They kind of looked like Russians, if it weren't for the Caucasian attire and big beards. Their leader is quite light looking too.

Majority are still brown/black haired even though the frequency for light eyes is common among them. And no. They probably looked like Balkans instead of Russians
