Indo-Nordids

I did not know this but apparently there exists a Nordid type in and around the northern part of the Indian subcontinent - particularly focused around Afghanistan, northern Pakistan and northern India. Also found in Iran. This type is apparently a mixture of Proto Nordid with indigenous types during the so called "Aryan Invasion" of that era that led to the decline of Indus Valley Civilisation.

I did not know this type existed before I researched more...

These people tend to have rosy to light brown skin, have medium height and sometimes light hair and eyes

Does anyone have any more theories as to how this particular type came into being? And can someone with brown eyes be considered Indo Nordid? What are the classification criteria you'd say?

I saw that type recently as well.

I think the Kalash people of Pakistan have this type.
They are a minority and some sources claim that they are descended of Alexander the Great.

Sounds a bit like a fairy tale, but let's say rather descendants of Greek invasion from the past.

I've seen a woman that looks like this photo , but she's darker as a phenotype and is from Bangladesh.
Her face features are very similar.

I think this is what Central Asians would look like they they were fully Caucasoid.

Yeah. I read up on the Kalash people too... I think the most likely theory there would be the influx of Proto Nordid type into the area from early Western migrations and as a result they lived pretty isolated. I don't think Pontic Greeks would have the same look as a lot of the Kalash do because they don't look very Mediterranid in their admixture. They look somewhat Proto Nordid mixed with indigenous types of the area. A few of them can even blatantly fit in Eastern Europe like Bulgaria or Romania. And the rest easily pass as Gypsy.

True...They reminds me the Pomak people of Bulgaria.
With their colourful dresses as well.
When I was a kid in Bulgaria I would find the Pomak people very exotic with their horses and nomadic - like lifestyle.

About half of these can easily pass in Eastern Europe. I wonder more about the origins of these types. Like there is definitely Proto Nordid and East Europid types in there. About what percentage have coloured eyes? How many have brown eyes?
