I recognise three of them.
Elderly man top left - Ian Smith. Prime Minister 1964-1979. Of Scottish ancestry.
Bald man in red shirt, penultimate row - Bruce Grobbelaar. Goalkeeper for Liverpool. Of Dutch/Afrikaner & British ancestry.
Right of last row - Chelsy Davy. Of Welsh ancestry.
Rhodesia competed at three (Summer) Olympic Games in 1928, 1960 & 1964. They won no medals. Zimbabwe first participated at the Olympic Games under that name in 1980, and has sent athletes to compete in every Summer Olympic Games since then. They have won 8 medals. The Zimbabwe women's national field hockey team took gold in 1980.
The other seven were won by swimmer Kirsty Coventry in 2004 & 2008. Two gold, four silver & one bronze.
