Since there is an ongoing discussion about this in another thread, i thought i should start this. Bullfighting exists in Spain, Portugal, Mexico and if i'm not mistaken France and other parts of Latin America. I'm sure each country has its own specifications and differences.
I'm my opinion, and regarding only bullfighting in Portugal, it should not be banned since it's a part of our history and culture. There is also a prominent sub-culture with bull and horse breeding connected to it, especially in the southern half of the country. I think i've only been to bullfights when i was a little kid, after that i have only went to local festivities where they release bulls on the streets. So it's not like i'm over ethusiastic about it.
