On December 18 Aram Amirkhanyan in the main event of the boxing show "Ring of Champions Kazan Kremlin Cup" will fight Chechen boxer Hussein Baysangurov for three international titles - WBO International, IBF International, and WBA Continental.

Though some look Pontid+ many have a Caucasus look I would associate with Armenians which makes a lot of sense, lol. Most are not familiar to me in that I wouldn't guess the majority as looking Greek or Med, which probably makes sense. They don't look like Pontic Greeks either. They look very distinct in that they don't look Turkish or Kurdish either, and much closer phenotypically to other Caucasus peoples in Russia than anywhere else, from what I can see here.

Interesting that you say that considering Trabzon Turks and Pontians are our closest genetic relatives. Would you say the Pontid type is one of the more common ones based on your observations? What are types do you see that are common?
