In particular Baghramyan was the commander and led the biggest offensive operation in human history - Belarusian Offensive Operation (1944) (Operation Bagration) in which 3.6 million troops participated from both sides and which resulted in the liberation of Belarus and Lithuania and in the entry of Soviet troops into Poland.
