I wouldn't say being tall is evolutionarily good in a sense that it means you are better, maybe in a physical attraction topic... but besides that being short is good. You can walk under the branches and when they fall it's not that far down. They are also stocky and are strong. Good for the psychical life...

Another example, Neanderthals. They needed to conserve heat are short and stocky too, and white too to get more of the sun shining into them to make it into D vitamin. If they were long and thin they would freeze to death. Eskimos also have short fingers, short noses and closed eyes. To converse heat and to block the sun shining from the snow.

I didn't mean being tall, but having higher leg/torso ratio.
There were darker Neanderthals too actually.
I think that Asians and Neanderthals evolved for cold thing is a bit illogical. In the cold weather, Neanderthal nose is a disadvantage. It was big and it was vulnerable to frostbite because of this. However, Asian, Eskimo, Saami features are totally evolved for cold apperantly. Perhaps, a kind of sexual selection happened too leadung this illogical neanderthal nose structure.

Future generations will have more leptomorphic bodies. Everyone is hitting the gym, everyone is having a good diet enabling growing up like a plant. Urbanization=leptomorphization. I saw naturally big guys only from rural areas whom are doing hard works since childhood and it shaping them more sturdy. Meanwhile, urban people grow thinner generally. And people are being urbanized more decade by decade.

I wouldn't really know, but in my experience height really doesn't mean anything besides if u can ride a roller coaster or not xdxd

Sounds intuitive, however stereotypical mountain folks like Mtebid and Dinarid are meso-brachyskelic (long-ish limbs). I think that it is more so a byproduct of the general average temperature.
Closer to arctic -> shorter legs in comparison to height (compact body to store thermal energy)
Closer to tropics -> longer legs in comparison to height (high surface area to sweat and hence lose thermal energy more easily)

This can't explain nordid types having longer legs than average MENA or South Asians. Perhaps, sexual selection or smth like that caused this too.

Depends on what is meant by 'evolved' really. Different populations eventually develop slightly different proportions over time. Personally however I think long legs are decently attractive on women, not sure about how they feel about it on the flipside however
