I took your advice. We are back together. She just was having a moody time I guess/ mis interpreted a text of mine. It’s always better to call.

I don't trust women, so I don't have anything substantive to contribute to this discussion. But if she suspects that he'd cheat on her in college with no probable cause for such a suspicion, she's probably just projecting.

If she's been cheated on (as you say) you just need to build trust with her. However, you must not present shyness as a positive trait of yours. It's not positive for any man. Be a confident man instead (which actually attracts women) and show her you're with her because that's your wish, not because you are shy (which really translates as ''I have no other options." to women).
