Regaining of Independence

Regaining independence is a beautiful feeling. I know, as the UK gained our independence from the corrupt and anti-democratic EUSSR this year.... and more EU controlled states (including Latvia) will regain their freedom, democracy, and independence in the future from the unelected Eurocratic Presidents and the EUSSR dictatorship.

I don´t like much EU, but, Why do you say "unelected presidents" and anti-democratic?

I know you couldn't help saying we were strangers in Latvia (and you were the bosses, right?) but I didn't mean ethnic Russians. I meant ethnic Latvian population. Check the graph again.

Concerning 1935, I agree. I was their maximum until Hitler came there.

It's ironic that they spit on the time of their demographical growth to glorify the time of their demographical decline.

I see very well why anyone would love independence though. I just don't know the modern limits of Latvian independence.

Any totalitarian regime can enforce a higher birthrate by taking away individual freedoms and limiting its citizens to property of the state.

Another thing communism and national-socialism got in common.

Also I dont see ANY significant demographic growth during communist occupation, a very stagnant line of the latvian population for almost 100years.
