    The word "Portakal" comes from Portugal, they controlled the trade of the fruit Orange and the fruit was named after them in Turkish.
    Never heard of turuncu before. We say Narenji in both persian and azeri

    In Turkish:

    Narenciye = citrus
    Turuncu = orange(color)
    Portakal = orange(fruit)

    Turuncu means Turunç rengi (the colour of Turunç). Turunç/ترنج refers to the tree that grows citrus

    From that list, the ones that could be somewhat recognized by a Portuguese are the colors bordo (we spell it bordô), the color bej (spelled as bege) and the color turkuaz (turquesa in Portuguese). Unsurprisingly they are all of Romance origin and I suspect that the Portuguese versions might be of French origin too but I didn't research.

    The color gri despite being of Romance origin too has a completely different spelling in Portuguese (cinzento).

    Similarities with Castillian/Spanish languages I can see:

    Bej (Beige): French-in Spanish beige/beis is also used.
    Kırmızı (Red): Farsi-carmesí is a type of red colour
    Mor (Purple): Greek-in Spanish is morado (colour of the blackberry fruit that in Spanish is "mora" nothing to do with the word "moro", but from "muro" (wall) the original name is zarzamora because it grows habitually in ruins)
    Turuncu (Orange): Farsi-in Catalan/Valencia toronja is the orange fruit.
    Bordo (Claret Red/Burgundy): French-, burdeos, is a type of red, from the wine of Bordeaux, the french city name in Spanish is Burdeos, but is not claret wine, is a red one.
    Mavi (Blue): Arabic-there is a malva colour, but is more pinky/violet, form the name of a flower called malva(mallow flowers)
    Turkuaz (Turquoise): French- turquesa is a type of blue, turqués/turquesa is how in old castillian were called Turks.
    Gri (Gray): French-in Spanish is gris

    Sabz/sabzī/سبزى is green in Farsi. We use “Sebze” "yeşillik, bitki“ meaning ”vegetable”. Vegetable is basically greens so we call for that. Interesting
