I have a question to Russians. How it is common in your country to introduce yourself starting from your surname, not from the first name - like the guy in the video at 1:11 - he says he is Моряхин Сергей, not Сергей Моряхин.

It is very common. Especially if you introduce yourself in a formal official way of self-representing, in that case you have to present yourself like that: surname and then first name. Generally speaking, the name is secondary and not importatnt in all large collectives - educational, working, military, etc. In such collectives, where there are many people, for example, in the army, everybody is addressed by surname, the surname is called first, and the name is most often ignored. During any serious address or gathering if you first say your first name and then your surname, it will sound very amateurish and weirdo.
