The second video is about Basque in "Iparralde" ("Northern region" AKA France Basque Country), but they are also people from Spanish Basque Country speaking, so not all the people in that video Speak Basque with french accent.

Castillian language phonetic is originally influenced by Basque phonetic. Castillian language was born between Álava(South Basque Country) province and North of Burgos province (Castilla y León), and firts written words were found in a monastery in La Rioja, neighbouring the Basque Country, and in the same document were found also the first words in Basque.

Yes, among the elders there is barely any accent. Basque is their native language so they can speak it without an accent. Any similarities might be as well because the Castilian accent has some Basque influence too (often people don't know or tend to forget that).

The Castilian pronunciation was more obvious among the youngsters also because they used a few Castilian loanwords that the elders did not use ("hostia", "claro").
