I think that the difference between this generation and the previous is that we had standards; our parents never talked about finances in front of us, we had to work to earn allowance, if we acted up we got sent to military school or to juvenile hall. In today's societies even among the lower socioeconomic everything is accessible: Don't want to go to school? No problem your parents can't spank you and the court system is overloaded and doesn't wan't to deal with you. Don't wan't to try and get girls? It's okay a world of filth and desire is at your fingertips. The new generation expects; they do not anticipate based on their work and effort.

It's an age of coddling, everybody's perfect and we should just accept everybody for all of their faults no matter how fixable their faults are. I was on twitter today and fat people were literally attacking Adele because she isn't fat anymore and they've lost an idol to look up to, they're accusing her of being self hating for not accepting herself as a fat woman lol. The funniest part was that all these fat acceptance figures would take a skinny pills without even thinking about it a such a thing existed, yet they claim to be happy and proud of what they are.
