This time I took the previous vaporwave session tracks and went medieval on the motherfucker. I experimented with various sounds instead of merely building upon a singular sample like a hack*, letting it take me to the zany one direction** it was taking me. I made the second track using methods I learned from producing the first track, doing something completely different. ;)
1. First Track
What you hear is various segments of the "is this a game you play" sample put together as a sound collage, using minimal SFX. It evokes a high-altitude monastery scene where you need to bin that bloody fockin' ego, mate.
2. Second Track
Everybody gangsta until it's time to step up and sound engineer the sucker. Executing an idea and gathering, assembling sounds is nothing compared to to the post-production process proper; all the sound volume adjusting, layering, and minding the dB noise floor is beyond torture. It's always either too silent or the sound ratio balance is all fucked up. Why do criminals go sit they lazy asses in Sing Sing when a better punishment would be making they niggas do all the post-production work in the world lmfao
Bonus Track
I went back and remixed the original track giving it a subtler, deeper vibe. It didn't sound right and still doesn't sound perfect but the foundation is a banger.
*Fantano would give me a solid 7
