Less resources per inhabitants, not to mention the space occupied by human settlement. China is experiencing rapid industrialization to compensate for the lack of natural resources.

Brazil is 2nd world, where the middle class is smaller than a 1st world country and obviously we have a higher percentage of poor people, but this is temporary.

Some states have lower income and low infrastructure (north and northeast). But in some cities you already have a minimum income for 1st world 22 / 23K PPP.
Chile's national average is the minimum for 1st world.

Brazil have much more future than Eastern Europe, specially than the Balkans at least.
Even because differently of the Balkanites that are fascinated with violence ( like wars and such), most of the time we only use violence as self-deffense or as an alternative market in terms of boycott against abusive laws and high taxes.
Much of the traffic in Brazil would end with the liberation of drugs.
Liberation of fireguns would also decrease criminality a lot just as how it happened in Chicago.
Much of the corruption was beaten with the "Lava-Jato" operation.
President Bolsonaro already did a good job at cutting the violence at half of the usual.

Hopefully Brazil can move up in a balanced manner and not screw up their ecosystems.

PIB per capita don't matter either.
What matters is the entire freedom of market( and private property deffense).
Untortunatelly Brazil is extremely low in that ranking.

Anarchocapitalist ideas are more popular in Brazil than in any other country.

China is a dictatorship. Is it the best you can do? Freedom is not for sell.
