    Default Turkish Accents Thread

It would be nice to discuss and learn different words from different accents. Since our country is quite diverse, I am sure there are many words which we have never heard before so please share those words/phrases that exist in your accent.
    I am starting:
    1) Asfalya = şartel, elektrik devresi (electrical system)
    2) Gari = artık (from now on, respectively etc.)
    3) Yoğ/yuğ = kez/kere/defa (... time)
    4) Sadıç = dost, yakın arkadaş, yoldaş (comrade, close friend etc.)
    5) Höngürü/üngürü = orada (there)
    6) Düzgü = kalemtıraş (pencil sharpener)
    7) Darı = mısır (corn)
    8) Ganare = haylaz, yaramaz (naughty)
    9) Uğlan/Gızan = erkek çocuğu (boy)
    10) Gocana (most likely comes from koca ana) = yenge (aunt-in-law)
    11) Kupa = bardak (glass)
    12) Mıymıy (comes from mıymıntı) = sessiz, yavaş (slowpoke)
    13) Potur = pantolon (trousers)
    14) Şavk = ışık (light)
    15) Yalım = galiba (probably)
    16) Trampa = takas (exchange, swap)

    Some pronunciations of common names
    1) Üsen = Hüseyin
    2) Mıstaa = Mustafa
    3) Aleksan = Ali İhsan
    4) Fikiri = Fikriye
    5) Sabiri = Sabriye
    6) Irımazan = Ramazan
    7) İrecep = Recep
    8) İbram = İbrahim
    9) Aşa = Ayşe
    10) Hatçe = Hatice

Do you understand Iraqi Turkmen dialect? My Turkmen relatives say they don’t understand Anatolian Turkish perfectly.

I do, but it sounds like an Arab speaks Turkish with a heavy accent.

Turkmen accent is close to Azerbaijani than standard Turkish, but it's understood easily.

My relatives speak with an accent very close to this, but with slight differences.

Hulhum yok sanırım halim yok olarak çevirilebilir, mahsım da mahsunun farklı şekilde telaffuz edilişi galiba. Bizde de var böyle sözcükler, örneğin “mağnaç etme” denir “mahçup etme” anlamında ama mağnaç tek başına kullanıldığında mahçup anlamına geleceğini düşünemezsin hulh ve hal arasında da böyle bir ilişki olabilir.
