Default Which ancestry is more commonly found worldwide: Iberian or Brittish?

The Iberians and the British are likely the ethnic groups hailing from the Old Continent who have left the most significant quantitative genetic legacy worldwide in recent history due to several events such as the maritime expansion and colonies overseas. Do you think there are more people with Iberian or British ancestors around the globe?

As an indicator, let's try to imagine what would be more common to stumble upon at a global scale: an individual with at least one Iberian ancestor in the last five centuries or an individual with a British ancestor in the last five centuries?

Iberians are abroad are mixed with non-Euro the vast majority of British descendants abroad are pure Euro even if they have other Euro ethnicities mixed in. Here in America the largest is German with 20% of Americans being from German lineages (including Dutch) with Americans in larger cities and traditionally German areas having about 20% German in their admixture. Also we Brits completely replaced the populations where we settled as where the vast majority of Spanish settlements are of Native ancestry aside from a few countries (Brazil probably being the largest but its Portuguese).

You can see how many people score something in differents ethnicities in every country in MyHeritage.

Los porcentajes representan la porción de usuarios de ADN de MyHeritage con etnia XXXX en ese país.

In this case I want to take into consideration anyone who either has at least one Iberian or British ancestor in the last 500 years, regardless of what ethnic group they belong to presently. If you were to test the entire population worldwide do you think by sheer number there would be more people who score at least 1% Iberian or British ancestry?

Thank you but I do not think that is very accurate. I do not think that it is possible for the Netherlands, Belgium, Denmark, Germany and so on to have between 20% to 40% British ancestry in the sense of having at least one British ancestor in the last five centuries. I would be surprised if ~3% of the population of these countries had at least one British ancestor in the last five hundred years.

Is not the average percentage that people score in that ethnicity in every country (of all the people who made the test) , is the % of people who make the test that score something in that ethnicity.

As far as I know, MH is the company that has tested more people around the world, so I don´t think that there is nothing more accurate.

I meant, in Puerto Rico or Uruguay, people don´t score more Iberian than in Spain or Portugal, but there are more people (who make the test) in those countries, that score in Iberian.

What an average individual of every country would score , would be more interesting, but this data is not showed.

I would say British because Spaniards have probably around 1% British in their DNA and we have historical Irish, Scottish and some English populations in most European countries, for instance the Scottish settlers in Poland, Irish in Spain and France also we have bred way more with Asians from our various wars and colonization. Also WW2 spread our genetics all around the globe. There are tons of Mexicans of American and Irish descent, tons of Argentine's, a fair amount of Brazilians etc. That's not even a flex, I am fairly ashamed of the WW2 and War babies, pretty dishonorable, but there are tons of Japs, Koreans, Vietnamese, Filipino's and even Chinese with some American dna floating around.
