That's a bit of a half-truth. In most of Brazil, most of the elite will be Euro-looking, but there will be a significant chunk who will be only pred. Euro looking or even look mixed. That is true even in Southern Brazil; I have met many people from the Southern elite who look "off".

Not that many. Most Southern Euros that immigrated to this country after independence mixed with white colonials.

Portuguese and Spaniards didn't settle in endogamous communities, same for Southern Italians in SP, who were mainly an urban type of immigrant, and they were heavily involved in communist/anarchist movements.

Some groups that settled in isolated colonies, like some Northern Italians, Germans and Slavics, have kept their purity, they are mainly located in rural/mountainous areas of Southern Brazil and Espírito Santo.

I'm pretty sure these kids and the teachers of Pomeranian ancestry will score 100% Euro in a DNA test:

Interesting! Yeah, kind of reminds me of when Italians mingled with Irish and Germans and kinda created a whole new identity in NY and other places. It seems in Brazil they have that community of North Western, and Eastern euros who stick together, is that right?

Not really, that'd be a bit of an overstatement. Many of them used to stick together because they were overwhelmingly rural, lived in areas where there were few whites of colonial or Portuguese ancestry and even fewer non-whites, and didn't speak much Portuguese. Things are changing and now that many of the descendants of those people have moved to larger cities and have a weak understanding of their forebears' language, they have began mixing with the general populace. I know quite a few of those people, personally. Something similar happened (and is happening) with people of Japanese origin.

You have also to keep in mind that while those who went to rural areas didn't mix much, those who went to urban areas mixed quite a bit.

I think pure Portuguese phenotypes are extremely rare in ALL of Brazil, not just the Northeast.
Portuguese people look very Western European. I honestly don't know any Brazilians who look like this:

Heck, they would even be considered as WASPs here in the US. This isn't true of most so-called "White Brazilians" who have a much more exotic vibe on them.

Yes, there are some (hard to say for sure) Southern Brazil is Portuguese. Germans, Northern Italians (farmers) and Slavs (Poles and Ukrainians) yes Europeans mix. Southern Brazil is on average 80% euro, 10 NAM and 10% AFR

There aren't any Brazilians with those phenotypes? Interesting.

Which are the states with substantial pure iberian population? (Do not count Southern Brazil, because those states are populated with euro-mongrels).

Pretty sure the majority are in São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro. Could be wrong.
