In that case you became Macedonized=/=Hellenized ,If you want to identify so much with the culture of that time you could consider yourselves Greeks but no ,you want to approriate/distort the identity of a minority elite instead.

Nobody forced him inside. Macedonians who come to Bulgaria usually feel sympathy to the country, mostly young people, and aren't influenced by the 65 years lasting propaganda about Tatars, occupators, Alexander the Great and Tsar Samuil. True, if I was from N Macedonia, I would force my country to join Bulgaria and call myself Bulgarian. Richer history, customs and better reputation.
