Sounds like Arabic to me, but he seems to be not so fluent in this one. Frequent pauses, and a lot of ums.

I don't know what the lexical similarity to Arabic is, but it sounds like a softer Arabic dialect like for instance the Palestinian.

Sounds like Maghrebi Arabic..which is why I couldn't understand their dialects for the most part. It sounds very Semitic which is not surprising considering that the closest languages that shares the most recent linguistic ancestry to Berber are the Semitic language which linguists claim that they diverged from one another over 6,000 years ago.
