Hey guys!
I'm still very much a layman in terms of admixture but have been learning as much as I can over the past year or so. My biggest motivator is filling in the blank of a foundling great-grandparent who was left on a widow's doorstep as an infant with no paper trail.
I'm definitely Irish, Swedish, English, and Scottish, with trace German/Prussian from the 18th century. The rest, from the foundling, is a mystery.
I got my mom's G25 co-ordinates a few months ago but I'm still not entirely sure what I'm looking at. She's Irish/Scottish/English, which the calculators agree with. Then there is what I presume to be the foundling's portion, which is French/Swiss/Italian with North Caucasian in various calculators.
I plan on learning a lot while I'm here.
Thanks for having me!
