Default Do you speak some Regional or Minority Languages?

For example, I, in addition to Portuguese, speak Mirandes, although my family is originally from the Porto region, I grew up and lived for many years in Trás-os-Montes- Portugal (border with Spain) in an area where the original minority language it is still spoken and learned at home and in schools. Mirandes is a language of Asturo-Leonese origin (language of the ancient kingdom of Leon - Spain)

I wanted to find some materials about Mirandese on youtube, but essentially to no avail.

I don't speak any minority language, nor any dialect of Polish, sadly as I'd love to. In all situations I just use regular, standard TV Polish, maybe with more colloquialisms as the only distinction. I know though more Silesian expressions words than average Polish person thanks to my friend, and my own interest. But it's not used here but in Upper Silesia, 150 kilometres to the east.

The Mirandese language (Mirandese: mirandés or lhéngua mirandesa; Portuguese: mirandęs or língua mirandesa) is an Astur-Leonese language or language variety, spoken in a area of northeastern Portugal in the municipalities of Miranda do Douro and some villages in the municipality of Vimioso and Bragança.
The Assembly of the Republic granted it official recognition alongside Portuguese for local matters on 17 September 1998 with the law 7/99 of 29 January 1999. In 2001, Mirandese was officially recognised by the European Bureau for Lesser-Used Languages, which aims to promote the survival of the least spoken European languages.
Mirandese has a distinct phonology, morphology and syntax. It has its roots in the local Vulgar Latin spoken in the northern Iberian Peninsula.

Mirandese is a descendant of the Astur-Leonese variety spoken in the Kingdom of León and has both archaisms and innovations that differentiate it from the original varieties of Astur-Leonese. In recognition of these differences, and due to its political isolation from the rest of the Astur-Leonese speaking territory, Mirandese has adopted a different written norm to the one used in Spain for Astur-Leonese (Bable Asturiano).

I don't know if you understand anything in Spanish or Portuguese, but here are some differences:

    The moon:
    Portuguese: a lua
    Spanish (Castilian): la luna
    Mirandęs: la lhuna/ la lluna

Why is an Asturo-Leonese language spoken in Portuguese territory?

    - The region's isolation: It was colonized by Leonese monks (this area already belonged to Portugal but was administered and populated by Leon).

    - Historically the area where the Mirandese language is spoken has always been more focused on Spain (Zones that belonged to the ancient kingdom of Leon) and quite isolated from the rest of Portugal until recent times.

Interestingly, in this area there are many villages with a large community of Jewish origin - Sephardic (many of them saw it when they were expelled from Spain several centuries ago). Possibly because they were more hidden here.

Prefiro esta versăo do "Fraile Cornudo" que é a tradicional. A que partilhaste é interessante, mas o acordeăo tira-lhe um pouco do som típico

As a kid I knew only to speak Hungarian but my teacher was angry and she told my mom to speak with me in Slovakian.

Note - There are half milion Hungarians in Slovakia and southern Slovakia was part of Hungary throughout history most of the time.

    Fluently? Just English.

I can get by in Portuguese and Spanish, though.

Complete Slovakia not only the southern parts. South Slovakia was only between 1939-1945.
