    1.) I'm born rich I inherited my father's wealth

    2.) I buy a factory

    3.) I hire managers

    4.) managers hire you

    5.) you work

6.) I steal the surplus value you create. You make me richer. I don't work at all I just own the property.

7.) The hardest work I did was read some books on business then delegate shit to my managers.

I trully dislike Bezos for the way he treats people and his mentality. So I boycott amazon for this.

But well as long as he respects the law I see no reasons to take his wealth away.
If people are not happy with that. Well just don't buy stuff from his company.

Many people inherited wealth, not all of them make something with it.
That's more difficult to create and make work on a long run a company than what you are thinking.

True but it is just another illogical fact of capitalism or contradiction of capitalism.

I could respect people who come up with innovative ideas and possibly make money off of that but the idea of an online store is hardly original. Neither is facebook an original idea of Mark Zuckerberg as MySpace was around first. How difficult is it to run a company ? The managers deal with the proles mostly.

Capitalism isn't meant to be fair; it is survival of the fittest. Some people make it; other people don't.

Survival is dependent on a person's ability to adapt and survive.
“The most merciful thing in the world, I think, is the inability of the human mind to correlate all its contents. We live on a placid island of ignorance in the midst of black seas of infinity, and it was not meant that we should voyage far. The sciences, each straining in its own direction, have hitherto harmed us little; but some day the piecing together of dissociated knowledge will open up such terrifying vistas of reality, and of our frightful position therein, that we shall either go mad from the revelation or flee from the light into the peace and safety of a new dark age.”

If Bezos made the honorable decision to leave all his money to me and retire to a monastery, I guess I would try to use it to fight the dominance of the economic elites. And they no doubt would crush me before I could say boo bc not even Bezos fortune would be enough to change the system.

No offence, but this thread looks like a discussion of 20 year old partisans.

People like Bezos, Gates and Zuckerberg are that rich because they materialized ideas. They give field to skilled people to focus on their technical abilities when they lack insight or their vision isn't as bright as theirs.

Let me explain further. I'm a software engineer. I work for a person like Bezos (not multibillionaire but still pretty rich and influential). He is entitled to what I and my colleagues produce, because this was his idea, and without it to work on, we would just be coding/designing in vain or we would need to create our own products, which I have tried to do and was incapable of selling to anybody (in the past).

Amazon and other tech giants give great salaries to their engineers. Bigger than the companies of millionaires. Also more benefits. That's why the most capable work there and make Bezos even richer, while they live a pretty comfortable life themselves. If you don't have ambition to influence the world, an software engineer salary in Amazon (and many other places) is enough to sustain a family with 2-3 children even if your wife is a housewife.

If you create laws on riches, impose immense taxes on billionaires to make them millionaires or so, these money should go somewhere, and it is very likely that they'd go in someone else's pocket, which would also have great influence with them, but very likely more wicked and less intelligent that people like Bezos or Gates. So far capitalism is the best economic system even though it sometimes go against common sense - just our behavior as human beings has its limits on the moral scale.

In an economic system focused on the interests of the majority (public sector plus cooperative property), people like Bezos are an extra parasitic stratum that appropriates most of the workers' income. Like any “effective owner” of the means of production.
You and your colleagues could organize your own cooperative, which would be equally owned by all the specialists included in it. You could sell your product both to the state and to individuals, without intermediaries.
Modern "economic theory" does not encourage and in every possible way sweeps the cooperative idea under the carpet, because almost immediately all the inferiority and inefficiency of the current private property model becomes visible.

Calling them parasites is not right I think because (generally speaking) it is their ideas or/and their investments that create the enterprises that are at the base of their success. The problem, IMO, is that the present system allows them (and their companies) to expand their power and influence to gargantuan levels, buying and absorbing other companies in the process, and creating, at least in some sectors, a regime of semi-monopoly where a few mega-corporations dominate a sector of the market. As I wrote on another thread there are about 50 corps that have a yearly revenue of over 100 B $. To put things into perspective, there are about 60 countries with a GDP of over 100 B $. You have to remember however that for each of these successful magnates there are others who fail and sometimes sacrifice their own capital without success. More importantly, such mammoth economic assets allow people and corporations that own them to have a huge influence on politics and society, both by direct influence on politicians and on electoral campaigns, and by controlling much of the media and also funding or creating political or lobbying organizations that forward their particular agendas. Soros is perhaps the most known example but by no means the only one.
