Instead of respecting our wishes, they wish to pursue the same 19th century politics towards us, and this time using EU structures to do so.

Macedonian lobby being stronger than Bulgarian is something that seems very unlikely to me. I don't know anything about the subject, but "more money = more influence" seems like a right formula for me. In GDP rankings of 2020 Bulgaria is in 73th place(we still poor af) and Macedonia on 131th.
