first civilization (video game) "Spanish speaking" latin America in civ 6

originally the video game series was only limited to Amerindian civ and a brazil civ when it's come to Latin America

but now they finally introduce a Spanish Speaking area civ in civ 6

via the person of simon bolivar and the Gran Colombia civilization come in the game

i want to have opinions of Latin American user what do you think ? should they have use somebody else to represent Spanish speaking Latin America ?

They can add more Spanish speaking countries I guess, but overall well done, last time they only used Brazil. Besides Gran Colombia was the closest that came in ideology of wanting to United all the Spanish speaking regions so I guess the shoe fits

Not so old, but I had PC since I remember. MicroProse had the most interesting games when I was kid, and besides I played some of those games a couple of years after they were first published.

By the way, this used to be my favorite game until I found Shogun and Medieval Total War:

No, it wasn't, that was New Spain, we started and everyone wanted to copy
Not to mention that New Spain created (along with Napoleon III) the concept of Latin America
The plan was to united all "Latin" countries in the Americas as a single country and be ruled by Mexico through Maximilian I of Mexico
Forward now, did we accomplish that? to some extent because now all yall identify as Latino

So how can it be Gran Colombia? They couldn't even fight for their own independence without the help of Haitians
They were not built like us, not even close, we fought for our independence and gave Central America their independence (except Panama since that country belonged to Gran Colombia)

That video is pure propaganda with misleading information!
I will report that game because the game should've focused on real warriors aka Mexicans!

They shouldve used Mexico, not Gran Colombia, pure fantasy and false history
anyone with a real history background will tell you that it shouldve been Mexico
