Traits reflect genetics and your ancestral contributions (example, Ashkenazi Jews have Caucasus and Iran farmer + European ancestral contributions, and we always find phenotypes related to their ancestral contribution: a totally European phenotype, a hybrid phenotype, a totally oriental phenotype, totally logic with their ancestral contribution), but they also reflect what your parents looked like.
The Sami look like what they are (some look fully European, some look like just hybrids, others just "Siberian"), because they have their ancestral contribution. Their differents appearance is therefore linked to their ancestral contribution. Nothing surprising!
So this is more complex than simply denying that ancestral and recent contributions make your facial features.
