East Asians love classical music

I live in New York City and I have noticed that in many of the orchestras and symphony I have been to, many of the musicians tend to be of East Asian decent. I have also noticed that many East Asian couples encourage to learn to play music instruments from a young age. They seem more interested in western classical European culture than white youths themselves. They often participate in ballet as well.

European youth, on the other hand, tend to enjoy black metal, house music and rap music. What is your opinion on this cultural shift ?

The classical western music seems to be big among East Asian people. It has not pickup stream among South Asian or West Asia where local classical music still rules
