    Default 23andme prediction ancestry tool

23andme has a new public tool where you choose nationality of your 4 grandparents and it gives you an estimation of your ancestry composition based on their database. Every result changes but more or less its always near the average results for each nationality.

Using the 23andme prediction tool (based on 23andme database ) i made averages of 7 different predictions with same 4 grandparents from the same country.

    The tool

    https://you.23andme.com/public/predict-my-ancestry

For usa and south africa i used only +94% euro predictions to represent mostly whites

I dont know if this are perfect but seem reasonable

For some countries i did 2 different samples to show that results are consistent

    CONTINENTAL RESULTS

    EUROPEAN ONLY RESULTS

I entered all my grandparents Polish and they predicted like 20% Ashkenazi for me... Are they for real? I know there were many Jews in Poland before WWII but all my ancestors were peasants, ethnic Poles and Balto-Slavs

The average Dominican on 23andme is around 33%-35% SSA. On AncestryDNA is like 37% African (North African included). So something must be wrong there.

58% SSA would be more like the average for our blackest region which is the East. The rest of the country pretty much is in the balanced range with the Cibao (our most populated region) being Terceron on average and the capital balanced mulatto. Average island Dominican must be somewhere between 37%-41%. In the USA is the same.

It's based on people, who have done tests, and i have a feeling that more black admixed are less represented among test-buyers, f.e. you get something like 55% Jewish for 4 Belarussian g-parents.
