    It came out around 56% SSA in the NatGeo DNA study like I mentioned. So you were very close haha

    Before the sugarcane industry this region was less negroid. Some of the older towns were founded by Canarians so I imagine they left a genetic impact there.

    La Romana is a new city so most folks from there are from the provinces nearby like La Altagracia, Seybo and Hato Mayor where there was less cocolo influenced. But a lot are also from surrounding plantation towns (bateys) and places where there were a lot of Anglo-caribbeans. San Pedro de Macoris was at some point a really diverse and prosperous city.

    Pienso que ese negro del video se ve como de 80% de SSA por lo menos.

    Los grifos suelen tener toques de caucasoide como la nariz mas fina, aveces pelo medio rizado, no tan oscuros. Tambien la forma craneal suele estar modificada. Aunque lo de nariz "fina" y lo craneal es subjetivo porque hay negros puros que la tienen pero mas o menos vas agarrando la idea de por donde voy. Sammy Sosa para mi antes de usar su crema era un buen ejemplo de grifo dominicano. Arlenis Sosa es otro buen ejemplo.
