La Romana is the most SSA Dominican city. Then is San Pedro de Macoris. The former came out 62% African in one study and that's a lot for Dominican standards. San Pedro came out 57% African on average. All this includes North African obviously.
Both places have a heavy cocolo input and in the case of La Romana there's a lot of Haitian influence. A lot of people don't know that La Romana grew up as a sugarcane-based city that eventually became a industrial and tourist hub.
