Default Do you prefer rain or snow?

I like rain, I feel at home in Oregon; I enjoy the fog very much too. Here in the South though rain means lightning or tropical storms so I don't like it as much here.

I have not ever lived in an area where it snows.
I have visited/holidayed in places that snow and for me its quite exotic and interesting to experience the snow.
So I would choose to say I prefer snow ... but if I lived in place that snowed a lot not sure if I would feel same way.

    Cool.

I have visited USA 10 times ...but have only been in Cali and Nevada.
Its because I go there with my wife to see her family in L.A.
I hope I get to see more of the US eventually, particuliarly interested in seeing the South.

Rain. Where I live, it comes and goes year round but never sticks around for weeks on end. Nor that continental grey cloudy weather. So we are blessed with relatively warm winter days.

I've only experienced snow in the mountains. It's enjoyable however a whole winter of it affecting our ability to enjoy the outdoors as we do here? No thanks.

I like snow a bit more than rain but i like both forms of precipitation overall depending on my mood.

However, I dont like areas that are too gloomy constantly like seattle and surrounding areas. Makes me slightly depressed lol. Used to live in seattle. the greenery and all were outstanding, but i just disliked the weather cause it rained all the time.

Yea I got a lot of family in the L.A area, mostly on the outskirts. The South is beautiful but it's a land of extremes weather wise, if you are comfortable with humidity you will love it, it's a fun place with all kinds of historic civil war sites, attractions, bustling but relaxed cities etc. I recommend Nashville for a first timer, you can't beat the environment. Tons of great bars.
