Here it is written that the Turkic runes arose on the basis of the Alano-Proto-Bulgarian scripthttps://proza.ru/2011/05/25/1135. Germanic runes also appeared on the basis of the Alano-Proto-Bulgarian script. On the basis of Germanic runic writing, Slavic runes appeared.
Alano-Proto-Bulgarian writing appeared on the basis of Aramaic writing.

There was a Christian metropolis in Merv. They used Aramaic writing. A little later they became Nestorians, rejecting Orthodoxy
The archbishop of Ashgabat and Central Asia Ikim Vladimir reported in his book that Christianity in Central Asia is of apostolic origin. This is the apostle Thomas.

Rune sign from the Danube island Păcuiul lui Soare ăcuiul lui Soare / about 15 km northeast of Silistra /
Rune sign from the Danube island Păcuiul lui Soare ăcuiul lui Soare / about 15 km northeast of Silistra / is an island on the Danube in southeastern Romania, known for its Bulgarian and Byzantine fortress, built in the 8th century and abandoned by the 15th century.
The island belongs to the Ostrov commune in Constanța County. The village of Ostrov is located on the southern bank of the Danube, in the historical region of Northern Dobruja. The island's name in Romanian means "Soare's Island", using an archaic word for "island". Soare itself (meaning "sun" in Romanian) is a Romanian name.
Modern researchers suppose that the ruins from the beginning of the 8th century belong to the "Glorious Palace" of the Khans of the First Bulgarian Empire on the Danube and the main base of the Bulgarian Danube fleet. In the way of construction of the walls, the plan and arrangement of the towers and other architectural and construction characteristics the fortress on the island shows significant similarities with those in Pliska, Omurtag aul near the village of Khan Krum and other proto-Bulgarian fortifications. Many Protobulgarian marks have been found engraved in the masonry, resembling that of the imperial capital of Pliska. The text from the Holy 40 Martyrs Column found in Tarnovo indicates that the Great Khan Omurtag (? –831) built, perhaps over Byzantine ruins, the medieval port and palace complex. Some historians locate the home of the Danube, mentioned in the Tarnovo inscription of Khan Omurtag, on the island of Pakuyul Louis Soare. Pannonia Romanian scholars believe that it refers to a Byzantine fortification, which was later conquered by the proto-Bulgarians.
The fortress retained its significance until the end of the 14th century.
It is known by the Romanian name Pacuil lui Soare, but in a Russian map of the siege of Silistra in 1854 it is marked as Ploska. The remains of the fortress are in the northeast corner of the nearly 6 km long island. The Danube current has constantly changed the outlines of this island. The river arm between it and the left bank destroys the island together with the fortress. Most of it is now under the waters of the Danube. The plan, structure, construction of the fortress, the first Bulgarian signs on some squares, as well as some finds, show that it was built in the IX century, when it was within the Bulgarian state. The mentioned "old home" is the capital Pliska. 40,000 stretches are equal to about 84-85 km, which is the approximate distance from Pliska to the island fortress. "Kanasubigi Omurtag, living in his old home, made a glorious home on the Danube and in the middle between the two most glorious homes, after he measured [the distance], he made a tumulus. From the very center of the tumulus to my old palace there are 20,000 fathoms (ὀργυιά) and to the Danube there are 20,000 fathoms. The tumulus itself is most glorious and after they measured the land I made that inscription.Even if a man lives well, he dies and another one comes into existence . Let the one who comes later upon seeing this inscription remember the one who had made it. And the name is Omurtag, Kana su bigi. Let God make him live 100 years. "

Runic signs from the city wall of Silistra

Rune inscription from Byala, Varna region

A runic sign probably of the god Tangra from Pliska

    The proto-Bulgarian inscription for Tangra

Some details about the inscription from Shudikovo, Montenegro
Only 280 km. west of Sofia, in Shudikovo / today in Montenegro /, outside the borders of today's Bulgaria, there is an impressive stone square with carved large, distinct Bulgarian signs "We find the same sign in Pliska, Madara and Preslav, but also in more remote places - in the Varna region, near the northwestern border ramparts, in Sofia, in Prestovac, on the walls of the stone block of the Shudikov Monastery in Serbia, in Dobrudja, Romania, etc. "Besides the Greek pre-Cyrillic written monuments from the First Bulgarian state are known about 100 inscriptions of the hitherto unexplained runic proto-Bulgarian writing and about 1300 more separately written signs on different occasions, most of which also have a runic character. They were found mainly within the borders of Northeastern Bulgaria, but also near the Shudikovski Monastery not far from Belgrade, whose area was part of Khan's Bulgaria. The inscription in Shudikova has 8 characters or a combination of characters. In addition to the stone square with carefully carved Old Bulgarian ideograms, which has dimensions: 0.94 x 0.87 x 0.54 m, in the same ruins there is another with similar dimensions, but without signs, as well as a third with a length of 1.22 m, width 0.72 m and thickness: 0.27 m, also without signs. These are the only three carved stone blocks of red limestone and together with a few smaller broken pieces differ from all the others, which are unworked and are of another type of stone. During archeological excavations in 2003, however, another stone block (slab) of red limestone was found very close to the ruins of the church. The stone slab has a very strange image (see photo), which can also be assumed to belong to the mysterious old Bulgarian culture. The origin of the red limestone, from which the listed stone blocks are, is from the rocks of the nearby mountain Tifran.
Ivan Pudic from Sarajevo, who visited the archeological site in 1959, took photos and measurements and in 1965 published an article. In it he wrote about the remains in question that they were "probably from some older building, sanctuary, temple, because it is a known fact that sanctuaries and temples of different religions are replaced in the same place."
The Shudikovo Monastery, which was built on the foundations of an ancient Bulgarian sacred site, is believed to have been the seat of the Budimljan bishopric in the 16th century. What conclusions did Pudic reach when examining the signs on the stone block? Here are some: "The signs from Shudikovo are not alone. The same signs, almost identical in detail, were found in Bulgaria. And not only are individual signs identical to those in Bulgaria, but their combinations (groups), which we see on individual countries, are identical to the combinations (groups) found in Bulgaria. The most frequently repeated sign ІІІ in Shudikovo, also in the finds in Bulgaria appears as the most common. Then he reminds: "The areas around Shudikovo in the ninth century were Bulgarian

In the inscription from Shudikovo, on the upper side it is written: that is IYI - seven gods, ie this altar is dedicated to 7 gods. In other words, in the pantheon of Bulgarian paganism it is possible that a group of 7 gods was worshiped. It is known from the writings of Herodotus that the Scythians worshiped 7 gods. There is also evidence that this practice has survived among the Ossetians, descendants of the medieval Alans. By the way, on one side of the seven-pointed rosette from Pliska is written the glyph IYI and, on the other side of each of the seven rays there are inscriptions. Could these be the names of the seven gods in question?

    The rosette from Pliska

It is possible. Here it can be interpreted according to the legend of the creation of the world or the sun, moon, earth and water, beasts and reptiles, etc., deified by the ancient people. Unfortunately, the information is very scarce

Rune inscription from Basarab, Northern Dobrudja
The Basarabi-Murfatlar Cave Complex is a medieval Christian monastery located near the town of Murfatlar (known as Basarabi), Constanța County, Northern Dobruja, Romania. The complex is a relict from a widespread monastic phenomenon in 10th century Bulgaria. The rock churches of Murflatlar, carved into a chalk hill, were discovered in 1957. The excavations conducted in 1957–1960 uncovered of a complex of cells-dwellings, 4 small and 2 larger churches, crypts and tombs, all dating from the 9th - 11th century. From the late 7th until the beginning of the 11th century this territory was part of the First Bulgarian Empire There are many inscriptions engraved on the walls - 2 in the Greek alphabet, 2 in the Old Bulgarian language using the Glagolitic script and over 30 using the Cyrillic script . The most numerous are the runic inscriptions of Turkic type - over 60 have been found so far. The same type of runes have been used on the Pliska Rosette and can be found on building materials and on the 9th century walls of the first Bulgarian capital Pliska. The Turkic runes in Murfatlar were based probably on the Kharosthi script. The language of the runes is presumably Bulgar, as suggested by some scholars. Romanian researchers do not advertise this Bulgarian cultural heritage and look for non-existent local Vlachs behind its origin, but even attribute it to the Varangians According to Romanian researchers, some graffiti, including a Viking navy, were interpreted as Varangian. However, they could have been carved by the local monks during the Rus' invasion of Bulgaria. Despite numerous attempts at cracking the Murfatlar script, there is still not a universally accepted decipherment, and it is rather heterogeneous. Nevertheless, it is most likely that local monks drew their inspiration here

Relief of a lion from Murfatlar, similar to the one found in Stara Zagora, exhibited in the museum in Constanta

For comparison, the lions from Stara Zagora, Bulgaria dating from the IX-X century
