There are no 2 million Albanians in Kosovo, but less. That land is by international law part of Serbia. And they could be citizens of Serbia, like anyone else.

Land will be bickered on since the end of time because the Balkans is obsessed with dickwaving their personal lebensraum fictional empires. That way politicians can aggravate voters without doing anything, and ignore that the Balkans were the first multicultural region in the world. I've personally concluded that real nationalism is defined by culture and customs, not borders. Albania and Kosovo before the middle 1900s (middle ages down to that period) was full to the brim with communities of Serbians, Slavic Muslims, Bosnians, Greeks, Vlachs, even Muslim Hungarians, Circassians, and Tatars who came and were eventually assimilated.

As for the current state of Kosovo, it is the Israel of the Balkans. Bolstered by the US and the west, with most of its economy being from remittances and corrupt politicians. It is an embarrassment.

By international law "Republika Srpska " is part of Bosnia , Crimea is part of Ukraine but how much most of Serbs respect that ?

There are more than 2 million if we count the diaspora and thanks but we pass , we already have our own country passport but Serbs are welcome to get Kosovar passports if they want to live here .

Ye right, how long does your family speak your language, guess not even more than 100 years, even your religion? Not older than 100 years. But its okay, we and Serbs might not disagree with Kosovo but we can split Fyrom.
