People get stabbed and shot all the time over sports here and you never see anyone in American sports taking dives besides basketball. American football is constant contact. You can't even be a QB unless you are over 200 lbs really or else you are gonna get injured.

Yea that is some very weak stuff, what's the point of winning if you won in that way? It's usually a handful of teams or players in the leagues that do it, but it really hurts the sport imo.

Not a matter of "sissyness" per se, rather dishonesty if you will. They dive or simulate faults to try to fool the referees, because it brings potential benefits to their teams. The loudest the scream the realest the theatrical performance is in their minds . Football is just a voracious industry, winning is all that matters, and sometimes doesn't matter how you get that w. The money, the contracts, the publicity etc only come if you win.
