Go Just About Anywhere – Guilt-Free

The new Focus Electric runs exclusively on electricity stored in powerful, state-of-the-art batteries, which means it never needs a drop of gas. It comes with a unique instrument panel that helps you closely monitor your energy consumption when you drive, to make sure you get the most miles, and fun, out of every charge.

Damn this thing looks really cool. Too bad we don't have the infrastructure set up for an electric car like this, but it's a good start.

Well, it's nice that Ford manages to design an electric car without making it look f*cked like the Leaf but I'm happy with my BMW so I don't think I'll be jumping into this electromania.

The idea of having a car is autonomy.Fill it up and away you go.Having to leave it somewhere to charge up or change a heavy battery is a non starter.
Bio fuels will replace petrol/oil.....and fossil fuels will be around for a at least another hundred and fifty years.I say at least because we now have directional drilling (look it up,its too long to explain) which means otherwise dry or redundant wells can now be productive and previousley inaccessible oil can now be got at.
I work in the industry (more on the drilling side) and basically its a given fact that bio fuels will take over after the oil runs out...and the oil will not run out even in our great grandkids lifetimes.
