I know this question sounds pretty stupid since both the UK and Spain/Portugal are in Western Europe.
However, when I ask people about Western Europeans, they mostly tend to think of blonde-haired, blue-eyed and pale-skinned people.
But is this really true? Shouldn't it be the opposite since Iberians have a more ancient gene pool? Aren't brown hair and brown eyes more Western European than anything else (contrary to the Western European stereotypes)?
I think Brits are just lighter because they had more Germanic invasions and are located at a more northern latitude.
What most people think about Western Europeans: Blonde/Red hair, pinkish skin
The reality: Mostly brown hair, brown eyes
