    You can find many of those that have a weird philia to Don Pedro II Monarchy, for example.

    Yes, even after more than 130 years Brazil has a many people that want the Empire back, there are some significant monarchist moviments in most states, the two Royal Families still lives in the country(Both Vassouras and Petrópolis). Unfortunately, the videos are in Portuguese and you will not understand about our Royal Families... but to give you an small ideia, the Republic was a coup of traitors from the agrarian colinial elite and militaries. The Royal Family was very loved and admired, in XX century after decades of the coup there were many revolts in small villages in very far far countryside of Brazil that wanted the Empire back. Also the women were very present in the Empire control and extremely admired like Queen Leopoldina that made the Brazilian Independence and Princees Izabel that finished the slavery.
