This is surprising, I would have thought America would be more resilient in the face of insurrection/revolutionary actions. But today America looks more like Syria at the beginning of its Arab Spring protests that turned violent. Is this the beginning of civil war? What should be done? Maybe European NATO allies can help by sending crack riot police units to quell the unrest. Some really good riot police in Europe.

I think it's pretty clear what action needs to be taken... effective policing to protect citizens and their property. But it seems you guys are watching too much CNN and listening to the lefties who say police should treat hardened criminals with kid gloves? Anyway I pray for America my friend. You need God more than anything now...

By the way even Trump was hiding away in a bunker last night when Antifa stormed the White House. Amazing stuff.... :/

For those who live in America, this isn't some game. Our own very survival is at stake. When the rioting started, the grievances about George Floyd became an excuse for bullying the country, and bullying the justice system, and the original grievance became shrouded in violence.

Government Officials need to stop dredging up ways to excuse the perpetrators of looting, burning, and thuggery; and, they need to stop letting the looters, vandals, thieves and thugs run rampant burning out neighborhoods. Fortunately, things are already quieting down, around the country, after the weekend. I guess that an appeal for solidarity about Floyd did do some good, in that regard.

All these violent looters and thieves should be shot onsite. Store owners should be given permission to protect their property by any means necessary. It’s absolutely ridiculous the media, government and people such as celebrities are basically supporting what’s happening out there.

Who are "you guys"?

I believe if you remove the MSM and the social media's ability to destroy peoples businesses and reputation, you'd find most people would be on the side of protect property and main the rule of law. However, these media organisations are silencing peoples opinions with that threat hanging over "us". We have all seen untold articles where businesses have closed due to the threats and negative news upon their business.

And now the people have extremists like antifa to deal with too.

No I don't think these type of creatures are capable of listening to any appeal to a good nature... maybe the National Guard's deployment in many states forced them to stop, or more forceful policing.

It is interesting that it is mainly in states with Democrat mayors that this is getting out of hand the worse... these incompetent Democrat mayors are incapable to governing, they should be voted out en masse in November.

I mean, if they were insurance owners the government will move the funds to the insurance agencies so they can cover the costs.
