I believe if you remove the MSM and the social media's ability to destroy peoples businesses and reputation, you'd find most people would be on the side of protect property and main the rule of law. However, these media organisations are silencing peoples opinions with that threat hanging over "us". We have all seen untold articles where businesses have closed due to the threats and negative news upon their business.

And now the people have extremists like antifa to deal with too.

Yes, you are absolutely right. I believe the media machine, together with social media like Twitter, have played a vital role in sweeping up racial tension and hatred towards whites and civilization and the government/police. CNN is totally complicit in this! I am sure they were popping the champagne when the rioting started. Scum of the earth. Also, financiers like George Soros were paying for many of these actions and protests... I think Trump's government is going to investigate the ringleaders and financiers in this tragedy. A lot of blacks are fed up with those other blacks. Just saw a video today of a black cop knocking out a black woman for hitting a white cop who was afraid to hit her back. Very sad.

I get the feeling many of these "protesters" are just simple opportunists out there to grab some expensive souvenirs from the stores. Wouldn't surprise me either if people joined to let off some aggressions just for the sake of it.

All these violent looters and thieves should be shot onsite. Store owners should be given permission to protect their property by any means necessary. It’s absolutely ridiculous the media, government and people such as celebrities are basically supporting what’s happening out there.

I saw a video of a guy defending his store with a sword and the mob basically beat him into a pulp.

There are a few points.

1. The military is not allowed to be active on American soil unless congress has declared war or there is a foreign invasion. Technically the national guard unless "federalized" is just a state paramilitary organization like the State Troopers. (at which point it becomes a federal entity and has to abide by the same rules as the army etc.) The CIA isn't even allowed to work on American soil unless its administration on a military base.

2. Americans are responsible for their own protection, our constitution is designed so that Americans may assemble and act as a militia to protect their communities. There is no law stopping anybody from defending their own property or helping to defend property as it would violate the second amendment and no jury would ever convict if it did somehow make it's way to trial. This is not legal advice or an enticement, this is just how the system really works. Police and national guards etc are substitutes the government tried to implement to diminish militia activity and mob rule. It may seem archaic or offensive, but this really is the way our nation was designed to operate. We all abide by this social contract and the common law of the constitution.

The real problem is that American society is deeply divided. And all American institutions are deeply divided too, including those institutions that must establish the order and the rule of law.

Actually you do not have in the US a united nation and society, but a population that is absolutely disjointed and unconnected to each other in every aspect other than the common territory of residence.
