Default Who looks more alike: Belgians and Dutch or Swiss and Austrians?

Since both pairings involve one country which is only Germanic-speaking and one country which is a Germanic-Romance mix, I thought it would be interesting to ask.

Very close, I'd say it is equal in this aspect. Both pairs extensively overlap but have noticeable differences at the same time, in the case of Belgians it is that they are more dark eyed.

    Here is what i think:
Between Swiss-Germans and Austrians there is not difference other than some phenotypes are more common in one country than in the other although the overlapp between West Austria and Swiss is even stronger. You can find germanic looking people in both countries, its however not a dominant look. However the difference lies in Swiss-Italian and Swiss-French on one side and those Eastern looking Austrians (i can imagine at least that Swiss people would think so) Most of them pass as atypical, there are however some Swiss-Italians who look really Med-ish and they would be propably off.
As a side note: both countries had a lot of immigration from the Balkans. The Swiss from Albania, Austria from Ex-Yu and both from Turkey.

Netherlands looks compared to Belgium more Nordish. They have more Faelids etc. too. Beligum is compared to them more Alpine and .. Subnordid, they have also more people who look French. However i think that there is good overlapp too, and the vast majority can pass at least as atypical.

    Imo i think its even

Austria seems to have a certain amount of North Pontids I haven't noticed among the Swiss.
The Netherlands is more Nordocromagnid than Belgium.
    In overall, I think it's a tie.

obviously Belgians and Dutch. Flemish people are Dutch like myself. During the Middle Ages, Flanders from Northern France (French Flanders) through Belgium to Southern Netherlands. These are similar people.

Yes, the Keltic Nordid forms a major element in Flanders, while Cromagnid-like types such the Borreby is still strong in Wallonia.

    Nordish?

The Netherlands = 100% Nordish, while Belgium = 95%, not much of a difference.
