Actually since you are on skin tone. Outside of the United Kingdom and Ireland obviously, Belgium is one of the countries with the highest frequencies of skin phototype 1 (pale skin which doesn't tan but always burns). This must be an old Celtic heritage from the ancient Belgae tribes who lived in this part of North - West Europe. I did not say that every individual has the same skin tone, but as a whole the British Islanders are lighter - complected than other Northern Europeans, most likely due to a Celtic heritage. The Austrians, Belgians, Danes, Dutch, Luxembourgers, Norwegians, Swedish, all these populations which have Germanic populations all have lower frequencies of skin type 1 than Britons or Irish.

I thought skin type 1 in Belgium came from a Borreby source, the Danes we looked at on Redmar's thread also looked quite pale in general and so i think it is generally a condition associated with UP survivors and not "Celts"

None of these girls could pass as Belgians. The blonde girl could pass as a Northern Italian or a blond Turk. The girl on the left is Mediterranean with a Berid - sized nose. The girl on the right could pass in south-west France, looks a bit Atlantid.

    These are Belgians, Ok.

We don't look like Spanish. Those girls might pass as Spanish immigrants in Belgium. Not as Belgians! Ethnic Belgians look like the people of North - West Europe. I see you don't know much about Belgium!

These are Belgian female basketball players, they look nothing like Spanish people! Are you all there!

Come on the Kelts are the whitest - skinned people, there is! Danes are fair - skinned but most tan well, so not pale enough. Belgium has also a higher frequency of redheads than France or the Netherlands.

I was thinking the middle girl has quite robust facial features and tanned skin which would not look out of place in southern Belgium but you would know better living there, i would have thought that Alpine-Atlantid mixes would also be common in Belgium so would have thought the girl on the right could pass there.

Like the Bretons you mean lol, the paleness is probably of Brunn origin but i have seen so many pale Germans and Dutch to think that it is a general Northwestern trait.

    wat

Did you mean extremely stereotypical Flemish or something? Girl on the right is cute, btw. Alpinized Atlantid, what a lot of Atlanto-Meds yearn to be.
The Guanche skulls as a whole are unlike those of modern European Mediterraneans, and resemble northern European series most closely, especially those in which a brachycephalic element is present, as in Burgundian and Alemanni series.
divided them into clearly differentiated types, which include a Mediterranean, a Nordic, a "Guanche," and an Alpine. The "Guanche" accounts for 50 per cent of the whole on the four islands of Teneriffe, Gomera, Gran Canaria, and Hierro; the Nordic for 31 per cent, the Mediterranean for 13 per cent, and the Alpine

Flemish actually do look like some Dutch and vice versa. Depends on the region and individual. You don't have to picture overwhelmingly tall commonly blonde Frisians when comparing them to Flemish. There are also regions like North Brabant and Limburg that are culturally very similar and used to be the same country with similar dialects. But some Flemish look 'woggy', that's true (minority, but existent too). We're quite diverse phenotypically what concerns the native population without recent immigration background.

These also look typical, by the way.
